Balanced Calendar
Are you in favour of your child's school moving to a balanced calendar? (A balanced calendar is one where three terms of study are seperated by longer breaks, probably in Dec., Apr., and Aug., rather than a two month break in summer.)

The RDPA is the District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) for School District No. 38 (Richmond).
The purpose of the RDPA is:
 To help support parental involvement in education
 To provide increased awareness, understanding and support for the public school system
 To improve communications and the process of sharing information
 To be effective advocates for parents, children and youth
 To advise the School Board on parental views
 To support individual school Parent Advisory Councils (PACs)

PARENTS GENERAL MEETING, Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the School District offices (7811 Granville Ave., Richmond) The theme of this general meeting will be exploring issues around kids, alcohol and drug abuse. All Richmond public school parents welcome to attend.

PARENTS GENERAL MEETING, Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the School District offices (7811 Granville Ave., Richmond) The theme of this general meeting will be The Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement, the School District Budget and an opportunity for PACs to have a roundtable discussion. All Richmond public school parents welcome to attend.
